DanceRecruit was born out of a frustration every dance family knows too well — endless Google searches, scattered information, and no single place to understand the college dance recruiting landscape.

How It Started

When my daughter started looking at college dance programs, I expected the process to be straightforward. It wasn't. Information about programs was buried across dozens of websites. Audition dates were hard to find. Contacting coaches meant tracking down emails from athletic department pages that hadn't been updated in years.

She was talented, motivated, and passionate — but the recruiting process was stacked against her just because the right information wasn't in one place. We spent months piecing together spreadsheets, following programs on social media, and guessing at deadlines.

We knew there had to be a better way.

What We Built

DanceRecruit is the platform we wished had existed when we were going through the process. A single place where dancers can find every college dance program in the country, learn what each one is looking for, and connect directly with coaches.

And for coaches and program directors — we built something for you too. A place to manage your listing, share your audition requirements, and find the dancers who are the right fit for your program.

We're not a big corporation. We're a small team that cares deeply about the dance community. Every feature on this platform was designed with real dancers and coaches in mind.

DanceRecruit is growing. We currently have hundreds of college dance programs in our database across all NCAA divisions and conference affiliations — and we add more every day. Coaches are claiming their listings, updating their information, and connecting with dancers who are the right fit.
